The commander of the troops of Ferdinando I de' Medici, to the left in the foreground, points with his command baton to a Turkish fort, which is being stormed by his men. To the left an attack on a second fort takes place. Below the scene a blank margin. This print is part of a series of 16 prints (plus 2 unfinished prints) of the life of Ferdinando I de' Medici, intended as an addition to an already existing series of illustrations of the history of the Medicis.
