About this work
Two women, dressed in rags, the left with a spoon in the hand and a muff under the arm, the right with an alms bowl and a stick in the hands and a rosary around the wrist. This print is part of a series of 25 prints depicting beggars and vagrants, as Callot probably saw in Italy.
