About this work
Man, dressed in rags, seen from the front, a tall hat on his head obscuring his eyes, a dog at his left side, a begging bowl in the shape of a piggy bank and a staff in his hands. This print is part of a series of 25 prints of beggars and vagrants, such as Callot who probably saw them in Italy.
