About this work

Standing lady, seen more or less from the front, dressed in a gown with a wide lace collar, a flat cap on her head, a rosary in one hand and a muff in the other. This print is part of a series of 12 (?) prints depicting noblemen in costumes worn in Lorraine in the first quarter of the 17th century; half the series depicts men's costumes, the other half women's costumes.
