About this work

Christ on the cross, with Mary and John beneath the cross. Angels catch the blood of Christ in chalices. The cross is decorated with the symbols of the four Evangelists. Above the cross are the sun and the moon. Below the image is an eight-line verse in two columns. Numbered top right: No. 25.
