About this work

Sheet with 12 depictions from the story of Fridolin, who is falsely accused by Robert. The King of Portugal orders the smith to throw the first person who enters into the oven, and sends Fridolin to him. But he escapes because he first goes to mass. Robert suffers Fridolin's fate. Below each image a caption in Dutch and French. Numbered at the top center: n. 67.
