About this work

Sheet with 8 scenes about the boy Louis who gets lost in the forest. He is found by a group of Roma, possibly Ursari, who perform with a bear, and forced to beg for them. A man recognizes Louis and brings him back to his mother. Each image has a caption. Numbered top right: No 372.
