About this work

A ladder of old age: a double ladder. On the steps of the ladder, in the form of a bridge, stand men and women aged from 0 to 100 years. Under the bridge a representation of the Last Judgment. To the left front a putto and to the right front Death. Under the image a verse in two columns. Marked top right: AA.
