About this work

Leaf with 36 playing cards (floskaartjes) with depictions of various figures. The images form eighteen pairs, numbered descending from top left number 36 to bottom right number 1. Except for the two lowest numbers, they show seventeen couples, man and woman, with the man just one number higher than the woman, where each pair represents a profession or a social position. Numbered top right: No. 73.
