On a stage before the audience, the quack doctor, together with his accomplices, the harlequin Hansworst, his wife, and a monkey with a clyster syringe, praises his medicines. In the center bottom the seal of the Maatschappij tot Nut van 't Algemeen. Under the image a verse in two columns. Numbered top right: L.O.
