About this work

Sheet with 9 scenes of a night watchman taking in a found child. Four years later, the child turns out to have been stolen from a wealthy gentleman and lady. The night watchman is richly rewarded for his good care. Under each image an inscription. Numbered top left: Série 10. - No. 6.
