About this work
Sheet with 36 playing cards (floskaarten) depicting various figures. The images form eighteen pairs, numbered descending from top left number 36 to bottom right number 1. With the exception of the two lowest numbers, they show seventeen couples, man and woman, with the man numbered one higher than the woman, each pair representing a profession or social position. Marked in the top right: Letter W.
