About this work

Sheet with 36 playing cards (floskaartjes) with scenes of various figures. The images form eighteen pairs, numbered descending from top left number 36 to bottom right number 1. Except for the two lowest numbers, they show seventeen couples, man and woman, with the man one number higher than the woman, each pair representing a profession or a social position. Numbered top right: No. 77.
