About this work

Wish letter with inscribed cartouche within a decorative frame with depictions of putti, one of whom is shooting an arrow at a boar. The figures consist largely of flourishes (calligraphy). Handwritten message in calligraphy (Whitsun poem) by Jan de Gast. Numbered top right: 1.
