About this work
Forest landscape with Diana and her nymphs bathing in a pool of water. Actaeon was spying on the nymphs and is punished by being turned into a stag. Actaeon grows antlers and is chased by his own hunting dogs. In the background on the right, Actaeon is being eaten by his dogs.
