About this work

Banquet during the wedding of Amor and Psyche. Behind a long table sit Amor and Psyche together with several other figures. On the right sit Venus and Hercules, and in the foreground a putto lifts the tablecloth, while the arrows and bow of Amor lie on the ground. Behind the table three Horae (goddesses of the seasons with butterfly wings).
