About this work

A gentleman with a hat on and a fur-lined cloak over the left shoulder, a walking stick in the right hand, a sword at the left side, more or less seen from the right, depicted twice: left as a line drawing, right more worked out with shading. This print is part of a series of 48 prints (50 incl. title page and dedication page) with various subjects (among others men and women in various poses, landscapes, buildings and festivities in Florence). These prints may have been intended as drawing models.
