About this work

Two artists with feathered headgear on (characters from the commedia dell'arte) dancing one behind the other to the left. Both just lift their right knee. This print is part of a series of 48 prints (50 including title page and dedication page) with diverse subjects (e.g. men and women in various poses, landscapes, buildings and festivities in Florence). These prints may have been intended as drawing examples.
