About this work

On the left in the foreground stands a man with a knapsack (wicker basket on a stick) over his shoulder and a bag in his hand. In the background a group of drinking, urinating and vomiting men at a table under a tree by a house or inn. This print is part of a series of 48 prints (50 including title page and dedication page) with diverse subjects (e.g. men and women in various poses, landscapes, buildings and festivities in Florence). These prints may have been intended as drawing examples.
