On the right in the foreground a commander on foot, with his baton pointing to the left, towards a burning city in the background. This print is part of a series of 48 prints (50 including title page and dedication page) with diverse subjects (e.g. men and women in various poses, landscapes, buildings and festivities in Florence). These prints may have been intended as drawing examples.
