Many small figures stand on the bank of and on two bridges over the Arno in Florence, to see the fireworks being set off on the river. This print is part of a series of 48 prints (50 including title page and dedication page) with diverse subjects (e.g. men and women in various poses, landscapes, buildings and festivities in Florence). These prints may have been intended as drawing examples.
