About this work

Man and woman dressed in court fashion of 1520–1530. The woman wears a wimple* (braided hairnet) on her head. The bearded man wears a mantle with slits in the sleeves, holding a bonnet in his right hand. Around his neck a chain. Clogs on his feet.
