About this work
The Evangelist John writing his Revelation. Behind him his attribute the eagle. In the background the sign of the woman giving birth, crowned and with wings. She is threatened by a seven-headed dragon. The child of the woman is taken away to God the Father. The image is enclosed in a round frame with a Latin border inscription. Print from a series of four with the Evangelists.
