About this work

Bacchus raises his drinking cup. He wears a crown of grapes and vine leaves on his head and a goatskin around his shoulders. Behind him a satyr eating grapes. In the background a mountain landscape. The top corners of the frame are decorated with the heads of satyrs, the bottom corners with drinking glasses.
