About this work

Christ with his apostles at table in the house of Simon the Pharisee, where a woman washes his feet with her tears and dries them with her hair. Next to her stands a small bottle with ointment oil. A number of the apostles sit around the table, at the back right servants carry dishes with food in. Simon sits on the right in a chair, he holds the law tablets above his forehead. At the bottom in the margin a six-line text in Latin. Representation after Luke 7: 36-49.
