About this work
The grapes are being harvested. On the left two boys cut the bunches from the vine. A woman carries buckets of grapes on a yoke. In the middle a boy crushes the grapes with his bare feet in a tub. On the right an ox cart with a large tub of grapes. Representation of Autumn in a print series of the Four Seasons.
