About this work
Before a rocky coast three ships suffer shipwreck. Drowning people seek a safe haven on the rocks. Two drowning people hold on to the mast of a sinking ship. At the bottom in the margin a two-line verse in Dutch and a two-line verse in French. Print from a series of different months, which also depict an element or season.
