About this work
In a landscape hunters ride on horseback along the road. Some of them rest in the grass with the hunting dogs. On the jetty sits a fisherman with a fishing net. At the bottom in the margin a two-line verse in Dutch and a two-line verse in French. Print from a series of different months, which also depict an element or season.
