About this work
Interior with four peasants. The peasant on the right raises his glass, the peasant seen from the back raises his jug, the rear peasant holds a pipe in his hand, and the fourth has fallen asleep. A boy relieves himself on the ground, where a dog sniffs. To the left is a view through to the outside, where a man stands.
