Two scenes one above the other. Above: The departure of the fleet of William III from Hellevoetsluis, 11 November 1688. William III stands on the quay about to step into a boat that will take him to his ship. Below: The arrival of the fleet in the harbour of Brixham depicted, 15 November 1688. The quay is populated by troops on foot and on horseback. In the middle William III on horseback on a hill. To the right part of Brixham Castle is visible.
