About this work
Accompanied by drummers and torchbearers, a procession moves through the city. Spectators stand by the roadside, the moon shines behind the clouds. Depicted is the Good Samaritan taking a wounded traveler on his donkey. This print was published in 1850 in the Kunstkronijk.
