About this work

Hercules, standing behind the stag, holds the antlers with both hands, while pushing the animal to the ground with one leg. Behind him Hercules is seen after his death, lying on the burning pyre. Below the image a two-line text in Latin. Thirteenth print of thirteen with the labours of Hercules.
