Rembrandt's painting of 1662 of the Staalmeesters: the board of Staalmeesters (wardens) of the Amsterdam cloth-dyers' guild, gathered around a table on which lies a Persian carpet, on the table the open ledger. Depicted (from left to right): Jacob van Loon, Volckert Jansz, Willem van Doeyenburg, the servant Frans Hendricksz Bel, Aernout van der Mye and Jochem de Neve. To the right above the fireplace a painting with a burning beacon.
