About this work
Oval cartouche with an Italian rebus on fate. Some of the symbols used are an eagle, ships, a wind god and a sleeping figure. The text to be solved is: Fortune is asleep / Everyone dances to whom fortune plays / Whoever to fortune a little key, suffice / Everyone knows how to navigate when under the wind / Better is an ounce of fortune than two pounds of knowledge / More fortune than head.
