View of the Forum Romanum in Rome. In the foreground the remains of the Temple of Vespasian and Titus (today further excavated). Next to the ruin a woman hangs her laundry to dry. Around the ruin playing children and two women, one with a baby. In the background on the left, among others, the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina and the Colosseum.
