About this work
The southern side of the marble Renaissance casing of the Holy House of the Virgin Mary in the Basilica della Casa Santa in Loreto. The casing contains statues and reliefs by Andrea Sansovino, Ranieri Nerucci and Antonio da Sangallo the Younger. The whole was designed by Donato Bramante.
