About this work
The Crucifixion of Christ on Golgotha. Christ hangs on the cross, to the left and right of him the two thieves are crucified. Longinus is about to thrust his lance into the side of Christ. A group of men on horses and donkeys watches. The Marys and John mourn under the cross. Text in Latin in the lower margin.
