About this work
Procession of Abraham and his men in Salem (Jerusalem). They carry the trophies from their battle in the Jordan region. They are welcomed by Melchizedek, the king and high priest of Salem. He offers Abraham bread and wine. In the background an elephant and a lion in combat.
