About this work

On a throne sits a king whose foolishness is shown by his donkey ears. He is assisted by two women (Ignorance and Suspicion). An old man (Envy) brings a beautiful young woman with a torch (Slander) before the king. Behind the woman stand a number of women, including Betrayal, Deceit and Repentance.
