About this work
Amor and Psyche lie together with their child (Voluptas) on a chaise longue in a landscape. A winged figure holds laurel wreaths above the heads of Amor and Psyche. To the right Ceres pours water on Amor's hand. His hand rests on a basin carried by Juno. In the background a group of satyrs sacrifice a goat before a statue of a god. In the foreground lies a dog.
