About this work

Peter receives the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven from Christ and is pointed to his throne. To the right stand two figures, possibly other disciples. On the throne stand two angels with the Papal Tiara (triregno) and the cross-staff (ferula). A third angel holds up a cloth as a baldachin.
