About this work
A triumphal procession of a Roman emperor. The procession moves from the bottom right, under two triumphal arches, to a temple in the top left. The procession consists of soldiers, prisoners, elephants, wagons full of war booty, and the emperor. Bottom left, a depiction of the emperor distributing the war booty. Bottom right, a depiction of a sacrifice scene and an explanatory list with numbers.
