About this work

Psyche tells her two sisters that Amor has abandoned her. On the left, the two sisters throw themselves off a mountain in the hope of being brought to Amor by Zephyrus (the personification of the west wind). Italian text in two cartouches in the lower margin. Numbered bottom left: 15 (twice).
