About this work

Allegorical representation of the season spring. The sun, represented as the god Apollo on his sun chariot, floats top left. Next to the chariot Venus and Amor float on clouds. Right a group of putti. On the ground a winged figure, sitting on a ball of fire, pulled by two swans over water. Around the water various personifications of flowers and loving couples.
