Body of Christ Carried Upwards by Angels

The dead body of Christ carried by small angels in a cloth to heaven. To the right floats an angel with the crown of thorns as a reference to the Passion of Christ. On the original print God the Father and the Holy Spirit in the halo above the choir of angels is depicted. This fragment is missing here, possibly deliberately removed and replaced by an empty halo with pen in brown on an inserted piece of paper.
