About this work
The upper plate depicts a man with a hat playing a stringed instrument for two seated women and a standing Pierrot figure. On the lower plate, a woman in an akimbo pose with a walking stick is central, and to the right a seated couple and a standing Pierrot figure. Both scenes take place outdoors.
