About this work
The Christ child is flanked by Mary and Joseph while Catherine of Alexandria sits kneeling beside him and points to a scroll held by a kneeling boy with a laurel wreath. To the right of this boy, several children with laurel wreaths are depicted. Behind them stand two angels at a pedestal with globe and laurel wreath.
