About this work
Christ seated as Judge on the rainbow, his feet resting on the globe. He makes a speaking gesture and is surrounded by instruments of the Passion, some of which are carried by two angels. Bottom left kneels Mary in prayer looking up, bottom right kneels John. Between the clouds surrounding them the underworld is visible with the dead rising from their graves and demons.
