About this work
Paul is blinded on the way to Damascus by bright light from the sky. The apostle and his servants fall from their horses which react in fright. In the foreground lies a horse on the ground and to the right a beast rears while its rider grabs its neck. In the sky, between clouds, Christ appears with a Tau cross. To the right rear lies a city.
