About this work

Five hunters walk in a row, carrying various objects which they use in the hunt for ibex and chamois. Recognisable are the lances with sharp points, daggers, ice spurs, oat bags and snowshoes. The hunters form part of the triumphal procession of Emperor Maximilian I. Next to them walks a dog.
